Accordions are box shaped musical
equipments that are made by bellows, body and pallet also termed as squeezebox.’
Accordionist’ is the person associated with someone who plays this musical
instrument. Invented in country of folklore music ‘Ireland’, these are now used
all over the world for various music genres traditional as well as popular
cultures. During recent years classical musical composer have also shown a
great deal of interest in synchronizing accordions for harmonies.
Hand-made accordions are always considered
the best quality because of the complexity of the musical instruments. Individual
parts are separately built with some automation then assembling the sections to
make a whole ACCORDION. Reeds, bellows, buttons/keys and switches are the main
parts of the Accordions. When playing these are played with hands and
controlled by straps that are hung from neck. Bellows are compressed simultaneously
pressing buttons, keys, valves (pellets) this whole process allows air to pass
through reeds that produces sound within the body.
Accordions are generally divided into
Buttons accordion and Piano Accordion which are than further categorized by
varieties of multiple layouts. Button Accordions have keyboards with series of
buttons whereas piano style accordions have keyboard similar to piano. These
are then classified on the basis of sound they produce i.e. Bisonoric,
Unisonoric.
